Virtual Story Slam - Your Mother!

  • Provincetown Theater You Tube Page (map)

Your mother, your grandmother your Godmother. Your friend's mother, your adopted mother, the mother you never met, the mother you wish you had. Motherhood, Mother Earth, Mother's Day.  Hear the stories live on May 9th!

Since we all continue to shelter in place to flatten the COVID-19 curve, we are presenting May's story slam as a curated virtual show. The Mosquito has partnered with Provincetown Theater to broadcast our virtual events at the same time and date as our monthly live story slams.

The evening will be hosted by Mosquito Creator and Producer Vanessa Vartabedian and Storyteller and Mosquito Co-Producer William Mullin. The line-up for this event features Mosquito Storyteller favorites, and a couple of special guest storytellers, each telling stories on the theme “Your Mother!”

As part of the virtual audience you can still participate!

PROMPTS - Submit your answer to the prompt: Tell us something only your mother would say! Mosquito hosts will read during these live on May 9th between storytellers.

*Use the form below or email you response to mosquitostory@gmail.com.

TRIVIA - We’ll also be asking the crowd to answer trivia questions in the chat to “Which famous mother said this…?”
